The concept of turn-taking covers a wide range of concern, not just a theoretical construction in the linguistic field of discourse analysis, but an important pattern in communicative events, governing speech-acts and defining social roles as it establishes and maintains social relationships. One cue associated with conversation strategies may cue the hearer to know that who have a turn to speak or make an utterance.
